Mark William Jackson believes that poetry should punch into your head, or break out like your drunken father. As such he is on a mission to write in vivid metaphors and minimalist styles under direct threat of being perceived as too simple.
Mark’s work has appeared in The Diamond & the Thief, Contemporary & Literary Horizon, kipple, Overland blog, Vox Poetica and is due to appear in Miscellaneous Voices: Australian Blog Writing #1 & SpeedPoets.
Mark is currently working with musician / producer The Minordian on a spoken word album slated for release in September 2010.
