Contemporary & Literary Horizon: Five Poems
Contemporary & Literary Horizon (Contemporan Orizont Literar) is a European independent, bilingual (Romanian & English) and multicultural magazine of contemporary culture and spirituality that has published five of my poems in their November – December 2009 issue. The poems chosen by the magazine are;
- An Anonymous Unit, Southern Inner Sydney
- Life By Remote Control
- The Meanings of Life
- Elegy for the Lost; and
- Let Days To Rest
As this publication is not commonly available, the only way to obtain a copy is by contacting the editor-in-chief Daniel Dragomirescu at drgdaniel@yahoo.com , I have attached the proof sheets showing the poems translations into Romanian.

wow, amazing achievements,
cheers,
beers,
Five mother computing poems!? Fantastic!
Congrats, how exciting to have your work translated too! Love ‘life by remote control’ & its opening stanza especially, ‘injections from the 40 inch frame’
Thanks guys, it’s kind of strange seeing my words in Romanian.
Hearing Ashley read his poem for Black Rider gave me an idea. You reading the Contemporary Horizon poems… in Romanian. That’d be awesome! I sound like I’m kidding, but it’d be cool if you could impart the feeling of a poem just through sounds. If you could bring the authentic emotion or the original to a foreign tongue. I know ,it’s a strange idea.
Could be interesting. My wife recognises Romanian as being very close to Italian, she might be able to coach me. As far as recordings go, at the moment I am working with a very talented Composer / Producer who records as The Minordian, so hopefully over the next few months I’ll have a few pieces here and there.
Awesome! Looking forward to that!
Too cool!
congratulations!
Fantastic stuff but thought I would let you know I’mhaving problems viewing in my browser (K-Melon
Thanks, I’ll look into K-Meleon, don’t understand why it wouldn’t display.
